- MES 300 (3) The Middle East: Critical Questions and Debates
- Critical questions and debates in Middle East Studies that shape scholarly and public perception of the region.
- MES 301 (3-6) d Topics in Middle East Studies
- Topics will vary from year to year. Consult the program website (https://mes.arts.ubc.ca/courses/) for further details.
- MES 450 (3-6) d Directed Studies Project
- Projects that provide essential knowledge and skills for academic and/or community engagement in Middle East Studies. May include academic works or presentations, community projects, and/or digital initiatives.
Prerequisite: MES 300 and permission of instructor.
