Major in Statistics

This program is currently under review. Students wishing to enroll in this program must contact the Statistics undergraduate program advisor.

Note: The UBC Okanagan campus also offers a B.Sc. Major in Mathematics with a Statistics Concentration.

This program provides students with a solid grounding in the theoretical, computational, and applied aspects of statistical science. Students also specialize in an area of application through upper-level electives. A graduate of this program is prepared for further study in statistical science, or to enter into a career in Statistics Canada, health sciences, business, government, industry, or an actuarial/financial institution.
