Introduction for students entering the program as first years in 2017/2018 or later; as second years in 2018/2019 or later; or as third years in 2019/2020 or later

The Faculty of Management offers a 4-year undergraduate program leading to the Bachelor of Management (B.Mgt.).

In the first year, students take eight required Year 1 courses comprising of introductory management, personal and corporate social responsibility, economics, mathematics, statistics, psychology and English, building the pre-requisites for later years.

In the second year, students take seven core Year 2 Management courses in accounting, human resources/organizational behaviour, management communications, marketing, information systems and business conditions analysis.

In the third year, students take four core Year 3 Management courses in sustainable business, finance, operations, and industry analysis, setting the stage for further study.

In the later part of third year and the fourth year, students take a selection of management and non-management elective courses to provide a focus for the student’s career. The Faculty of Management areas of focus are general management, accounting, entrepreneurial technology, finance, human resources/organizational behaviour, marketing and operations/supply chain.
