LPN Access Program - Admission Requirements

The School of Nursing accepts applications from Licenced Practical Nurses (LPNs). Successful completion of the LPN Access program degree requirements provides eligibility to write the Canadian Entry to Practice Regulatory Exam (Canadian NCLEX) to become eligible to apply for registration as a registered nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Application for admission to the School of Nursing must be made through Enrolment Services. Inquiries related to admission requirements to the B.S.N. program should be directed to Student Recruitment & Advising.

Procedures, policies, and admission requirements to the University of British Columbia and the School of Nursing are specified in Admissions. Please see additional Nursing-specific admission requirements below.

To be admissible to the LPN Access program, students must have completed their LPN training and be licensed in Canada as an LPN. See Admissions for the program's high school prerequisite courses, and Admission from a Post-Secondary Institution for information on transfer requirements.

Other Admission Requirements for the LPN Access Program
