RN Access Program - Degree Requirements

Beginning in September 2015, the School of Nursing will be phasing in a revised curriculum for the B.S.N. programs.

During the transitional years in which the new curriculum structure is being phased-in, the previous curriculum structure will be phasedout, year-by-year.

Course offerings that are part of the degree requirements for the RN Access Program will be changing: year-three course offerings will change in 2017-18 and year-four course offerings will change in 2018-19. Students in progress during this transition time will need to use a combination of completed courses and new course offerings to satisfy the degree requirements. Each student’s circumstance will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Each student will require course advising with the Associate Director to review their credits and obtain a list of degree requirements.

At least 30 credits of studies must be completed at the 300 and 400 level. A minimum grade average of 65% is required for all courses in the third and fourth year. Studies must normally be finished within six years.
