Dentistry, D.M.D., third and fourth years: last day of dental classes.

Distance Education and Technology: course information will be sent to students for courses beginning in January (Term C).

Last day for Teaching and Research Assistants to apply for payroll deduction of Winter Session Term 2 (January - April) tuition fees. Students who do not submit their applications by the deadline will be required to pay the first installment of tuition fees by January 7 to avoid financial hold procedure (See Fees section - published in Calendar).

Last day of classes for most Faculties scheduling formal December examinations.

Law, all years: last day of classes.

Dentistry, D.M.D., third and fourth year assessment period begins (December 2 to December 8 inclusive).

Tuesday, 5 December 2000

December examinations begin for most Faculties, day and evening classes (December 5 to December 21 inclusive). Saturdays are included in the exam schedule.

Law, all years: December examinations begin.

Supplemental and deferred examination period (Summer Session).

Meeting of the Senate.

Friday, 15 December 2000

Graduate Studies: last day for supervisors to submit "Appointment of External Examiner for Doctoral Thesis" form to Faculty of Graduate Studies for student expecting to graduate in Spring. Submissions received after this date may not be processed in time for Spring graduation.

Thursday, 21 December 2000

Last day of December examinations for most Faculties.

Law, all years: last day of December examinations.

Monday, 25 December 2000

Christmas Day. University closed.

Tuesday, 26 December 2000

Boxing Day. University closed.

Wednesday, 27 December 2000

Reduced student services in some departments. Most student services departments are closed until Tuesday, January 2, 2001.

Sunday, 31 December 2000

Deadline for application for deferment of tuition fee payment for Winter Session Term 2 for new and returning students not registered in Winter Session Term 1. This applies only to student loan recipients and students who hold major external graduate or undergraduate fellowships.
