Graduate Studies: Deadline for guaranteed consideration by the Faculty of Graduate Studies of recommendations from graduate programs for overseas international students to be admitted for registration in January 2013. Late recommendations may be accepted upon special request from a graduate program.

Law: Supplemental and deferred examinations begin (July 3 to July 13 inclusive).

Teacher Education Program: 12-Month Elementary, 12-Month Middle Years, 12-Month Secondary September start options: Summer Session Term 2 classes begin (Term 2: July 3 to August 10, subterm 2A: July 3 to 20, subterm 2B July 23 to August 10).

For important deadlines, such as: last day for withdrawal without a withdrawal standing of "W" recording on a student's academic record; last day to elect Credit/D/Fail grading for eligible courses; and last day for withdrawal with withdrawal standing of "W" recorded on a student's academic record, please look up your courses in the Course Schedule.

Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Deadline for the completion of the LPI test by BC students (including students who are non-BC residents studying at BC educational institutions) intending to take a first-year English course beginning in September 2012.

Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Out-of-province students may be granted permission by the First-Year English Office to write on Saturday September 1, 2012 if they miss the LPI sitting in their province. To seek permission, write to the First-Year English Office by July 21, 2012.
