Distance Education Term D courses: Last day for withdrawal from most Distance Education Term D courses with withdrawal standing of W recorded on a student's academic record. Refer to the online Course Schedule for specific information.

Term 2 (April) examinations begin for most faculties, day and evening classes (April 18 to April 29 inclusive). Saturdays and Sundays are included in the examination schedule.
Forestry (third-year): FRST 452 field work begins at the University Research Forest, Maple Ridge, BC (tentatively April 19 to 26 inclusive).
Full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program: First day of Period 5 (April 19 – April 30, 2021).
Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) & Master of Management (MM) Programs: First day of Period 5 (April 19 – May 29, 2021).
Graduate Studies: Last day for final master's theses and doctoral dissertations to be accepted by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for degrees to be conferred at May 2021 Congregation. Must be approved and accepted by 4:00 pm.
Graduate Studies: Last day for graduate students to complete all program requirements (including major papers) for non-thesis master's degrees to be conferred at May 2021 Congregation.
International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) Program: First day of mandatory Vancouver Residency (April 25 – May 8, 2021). Please refer to program schedule for subsequent course dates.
UBC Student Housing: Winter Session residences close; residents are required to vacate by 12 noon.

Must be approved and accepted by 4:00 pm. Students who meet this deadline will not be assessed tuition and student fees for the 2021 Summer Session. IMPORTANT: For students planning to graduate in May 2021, the deadline for acceptance of theses and dissertations is Friday, April 23, 2021.
