Indigenous Land-Based Studies

Indigenous Land-Based (INLB) course studies offers intensive learning opportunities to students who have a keen interest in land-based learning within Indigenous communities, and according to Indigenous knowledge systems and land-based practices.

INLB course studies are enriched by existing curriculum and learning contexts in the Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies, but students need not be specializing within First Nations Studies or First Nations and Endangered Language Studies to participate.

INLB is an area of study. Courses meet graduation requirements but, at this time, do not lead towards a specialization (such as a Minor or Major).

INLB courses are administered through the Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies. For more information contact inlb@ubc.ca.
