Applicants with Disabilities

Academically qualified students who have physical, sensory, or specific learning disabilities are encouraged to attend UBC. The University has a wide variety of services, including several forms of special assistance, designed to accommodate the needs of students with disabilities.

The University will ensure that applicants are not denied admission as a result of their disability and that, where appropriate, accommodation will be made with respect to admission criteria.

Prospective applicants and students with disabilities are encouraged to contact Access and Diversity. See also Student Services for a description of the services available and to arrange access to them.
