The Draft Calendar makes the Academic Calendar proofing process accessible to faculty and staff.
The Draft Calendar "warehouses" revisions made by the Calendar coordinators, displaying ongoing editorial changes, new Senate and faculty-approved material, and corrections. Please note: the Draft Calendar does not reflect live updates to the Course Descriptions section. To see whether course descriptions have been updated, please visit the Faculty Service Centre.
Please refer to Methods & procedure for proofs for more details.
The Draft Calendar is not a public site. Please do not post its URL, share the links with students, or rely on its information for academic planning. For all purposes other than proofing, refer to the official online Calendar.
Navigation within the Draft Calendar is identical to the online Calendar with the exception of the search function which will only search the online Calendar (even if used in the Draft Calendar view).
The Draft Calendar contains Article ID numbers. Article ID numbers assist the Calendar coordinators in making changes to the database. Please refer to Article ID numbers when submitting edits.
Changes made by the Calendar coordinators, with the exception of changes to courses, will appear immediately in the Draft Calendar. The changes will not appear in the online Calendar until the following release. Calendar releases typically occur in February and June of each year.
Please contact the Calendar coordinators for more information.
Note: Courses and the Dates and Deadlines main page do not contain Article ID numbers. In addition, updates to courses do not appear in real-time in the Draft Calendar but will appear in the subsequent online Calendar release. Course updates can, however, be viewed through the Faculty Service Centre and are available for scheduling upon entry into the Curriculum Management System by the Calendar coordinators (i.e., courses can be scheduled before they appear in the Calendar).
