The Faculty of Applied Science is a dual-campus faculty with activities at both the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses.

At the Okanagan campus, the Faculty operates through the Office of the Dean and the School of Engineering, and offers undergraduate programs through the School of Engineering leading to the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

At the Vancouver campus, the Faculty operates through various components of the Office of the Dean, six Engineering departments, the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, the School of Nursing, School of Biomedical Engineering, School of Community and Regional Planning, and several research centres. The Faculty offers undergraduate programs leading to the B.A.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Environmental Engineering (jointly with the University of Northern British Columbia), Geological Engineering, Integrated Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering.

Extending engineering studies to the graduate level is becoming increasingly important. At both the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses, the Faculty offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.), Master of Design (M.Des.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
