English Language Institute (ELI)
The UBC Faculty of Education’s English Language Institute (ELI) offers courses in English as an additional language (EAL) for adult learners, and welcomes thousands of international students through its doors every year. Classes are taught by experienced instructors with specialized training in teaching EAL, and programs include socio-cultural activities led by UBC students hired as cultural assistants.
