The Bachelor of Arts in Music is designed for students interested in studying music as one of the liberal arts. The School offers a number of courses intended for students with little or no formal background in music. A selection from among the following courses will be offered each year including:
Students who demonstrate relevant instrumental or vocal performance may enrol for credit in ensembles, such as MUSC 150, 153, 154, 156, 157, 160, 163, 164, and 165. An audition may be required. These courses are acceptable for credit toward the Bachelor of Music and toward the B.A. major, honours, and minor in Music.
